Much like with Blemished Bone & Ink, Medicine is formed out of old lyrics and patched together with the help of Mike Geist in my CraigBank ranch.

War-Hawk 03:04
I was the pilot, I breathed rosy-rustic clouds. In mirrored sanctuary, I kept my solemn vows, To never, lay down, to my rivals. On the outskirts of the city, We were in tune with the gritty, For though we were slaves, We felt free. Now I am the war-hawk, I’m forced to clip the startling’s wings. For the futures mortuary, Is filled with unsung kings, And captains, returned, to the dock. Now regarded with pity, Not in tune with the city, I’ve been claimed by the claimed by the slaves, Who’ve been freed.
Meteoros 06:38
Meteoros When a blessing of silver, Cascades from the sky, And a river of moonlight, Runs deep. Well the forgone conclusion, Is to wish for a chance, To unbreak the broken heart, You can’t keep. For her kind-sweet eyes, Saphire and shining, Curving the wrong way, No longer smiling. When the harshness of winter storm, Guides in from the west, And shakes words from my sorry Twisted limbs. Well the hand cites old memories, The ink quivers blue, Redemption for me I think, Is now slim. For my tired grey eyes, Clawed at and bleeding, Blinded by sorrow, When they did see, Her kind-sweet eyes, Sapphire and shining, Curving the wrong way, No longer smiling.
You’ll never know hard times; Till you’ve lost your land. Where fortunes were raised by, Your own calloused hands. And squatting on haunches, To draw in the dirt; You’ll try to find a way To live. The lost son’s returning, On a burning road. Finds preachers not preaching, And nowhere to roam. And leather faced peasants Can dance in the rain; So the women stand to see If they’ll break. Take heed of the warnings, But follow your heart. The choices from yearning Can’t help you start To plan a long journey; To take stock of your life. The only aim you see, Is to live.

This is the second lofi collaborative project; this time between myself and Mike Geist. The songs were patched together in parts from old lyrics scribed on post-its and beer coasters. The music was fueled by Black Tar coffee and driven forward with analogue synth.
